It’s slightly smaller than its relative, the Rexton, and slightly bigger than the popular Land Rover Freelander. There aren’t a lot of them on Irish roads. It has understated yet powerful, muscular look on the outside, and plenty of refinement and comfort on the inside. The cabin is spacious with the ability to easily seat up to five. There is a pretty big boot too. The seating system is versatile and can be adjusted to increase the load space. The cabin is smartly laid out. There’s a lot of kit; instrumentation and dials are simple and uncomplicated. The quality of the materials inside may not be the best in class but they are robust and durable, which is exactly what you want in a 4x4. In terms of driving, it behaves much the same as the Rexton. It’s a competent on-road performer, the steering is sharp and it handles well. When taken off-road the powerful, torquey engines give it the ability to trundle across bumpy/rocky terrain with ease.
